After studying a Fine Art degree I spent 8 years working as a community filmmaker at Signal Films raising money, managing the programme and leading workshops for people of all ages backgrounds on a range of film and digital art projects.
Since completing an MA in Theatre Design with distinction at Wimbledon College of Art in 2016 I have designed over 15 short films including for BFI Network, Creative England’s iShorts, Film London and schemes and with NFTS directors. I was awarded the technical award for best art direction at the Long Island Film Festival 2019 for Mea Culpa, a short film by Jason Fite.
I work in the art department and as an art director on BBC, ITV and Channel 4 TV productions and on feature films including Farming (2019) and BFI Feature The Power (2019). I have also designed theatre sets at the Finborough, The Park and Etcetera theatres and am the South East design champion for the British Society of Theatre Designers. I was selected as a BAFTA crew member for 2019/20 and have been mentored by designer Francesca Massariol through Talking Point Film.
I remain committed to encouraging social and cultural diversity in the industry and providing access opportunities from any background and I welcome projects with these values.
